Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County

HFHFC was formed in 1994 and to date has built more than 55 homes for low to moderate income individuals and families in Franklin County. Through new construction and housing rehab, we work hard not only to serve the individual families, but the entire community by ensuring that there is adequate affordable housing stock to ensure Franklin County is a great place to live, work, worship, and play.

HFHFC partners with low income families to help them become homeowners. Our partner families work alongside of us to help build affordable housing. This is expressed through the investment of “Sweat Equity.” Families must commit a minimum of 350 hours of work on their home, other’s homes, and other approved activities. This commitment is part of the program that really helps future homeowners be so successful!
